kids no gi class training

Join us at Kids no gi today and see what everyone is raving about. Kids no gi bjj is a fun class that teaches kids discipline and confidence. at Future School of Jiu Jitsu we are committed to providing a safe and fun learning environment for your child or teen.we offer different programs for different age groups, with age-appropriate curriculums where we focus on a strong foundation for techniques.the program will integrate:self defense techniques, conditioning, and skill-oriented games that build agility, flexibility, and motor skills.

No-Gi is a variation of traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu except that students wear shorts and a shirt. The main differences between Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are the grip strategy and techniques. In the Gi, you will have extra material to grab onto making it a little easier to control your opponent. The Importance of the No Gi gear Wearing a Rash Guard Protects and Defends adults and Children Against Abrasions It should be no secret that there is going to be lots of friction in BJJ. In no gi, the rash guard keeps the skin from getting these abrasions that look and feel like road rash.

The benefits of wearing a rash guard are:
• Less bruising/abrasions
• No grip space for the opponent
• Less sweat from the opponent
• Material wicks sweat and cools
• Needed for certified matches

The most important benefits of wearing shorts for no gi are:
• Won’t slip or slide off
• More challenging for an opponent to grab legs
• Maximum movement radius
